Stuart McGraw took out his endowments tonight and he was nice enough to invite us. I also got to take one of the names I found while doing my family history. It was a very good evening.
Stuart opened his mission call tonight. Lansing, Michigan. He enters the MTC on February 15, 2012. So exciting and it was fun to share it with 5,000 of his closest friends and relatives.
Red Ribbon Week got kicked off to a great start today at Canyon Crest. We had paragliders and the Harley Davidson bear? Oragutang? Big Foot? Well, some kind of mascot. The point is the kids loved it and hopefully they will remember to be drug-free.
Erika and Hudson did baptisms for her ancestors tonight. It was a great evening. (Hudson took this picture--I would be totally jealous except I just came back from the temple--and I probably shouldn't be having those feelings).
Bowling for FHE. Highlight of the night? Mitch totally heaving the ball off the kiddie ramp (twice) and still getting a gutter ball (twice)! He was a very good sport and took all the teasing very well. Seth dominated and we all want a rematch.
First of all: I didn't take this picture (it's from the internet) but it looks a lot like what happened in Hudson's game today. Second of all: Today's ref was a freaker. Basically threw Coach out for no reason. It's okay. We won 8 to 0 anyway.
An hour wait and a big fat lie on the weight question and I am now the proud owner of a temporary license--hard copy to come through the mail in a few weeks (or so they told me).
After President Monson announced that the Provo Tabernacle would be built into a new temple for Provo, Erika and I ran down to look at it between sessions. And I might have been interviewed by KSL and Deseret News.
