31/365: It Was A Beautiful Morning in the Canyon.

It snowed pretty heavily this morning up Big Springs. This is the only picture I took that actually captures the snowfall. I LOVE days like this!

26/365: Empty!

I HATE going out to the mailbox and finding nothing in it! And then when it finally comes, it is usually nothing but bills and ads. I want cool letters--from cool people.

24/365: Beginning The Tranformation

Started the "missionary shopping". Got the haircut. Too bad we have 5 more weeks to wait. (Yes, I am the obnoxious mother taking pictures in Mr. Mac)

21/365: Moon Over the Mountains

The full moon coming over the mountains was so beautiful...I can't quite capture it with a camera.

20/365: The Deacons' Game That Wasn't

The Deacons' basketball game didn't happen (Stake Athletic Director Incompetence). But the boys still played a late night pick-up game.

19/365: Royal!

Welcome back to the U.S.A., buddy!

18/365: Cemetery Candle

An early walk up to the cemetery gave me this picture. It may be boring to some but I like it. It reminds me of why I like to walk up to the cemetery...by myself.

15/365: It's Not My Birthday!

Why am I being sprayed with silly string? It's not my birthday--it's Colin's. Guess this is what he wanted for his birthday.

I don't really know what this machine is but for my title's sake, today it is a plow.

12/365: Da Bulls

Seth, apparently,is going to dress up for every church ball game. This was his homage to Chicago Bulls fans a la Saturday Night Live, circa 1990s.

9/365: Orange Water

This is my new favorite "treat". Had it at the Blue Lantern Bed & Breakfast in Dana Point, Ca. It is so refreshing! And oranges are so tasty this time of year.

7/365: Moosen!

First moose spotting of the season! Picture is lousy because I am taking it from a moving car and to be perfectly honest, I am so excited I can hardly hold my camera.

6/365: Just When We Were Almost Achieving Respectability

We finished the outside of our house this fall and no longer looked like hobos...until Paul replaced his toilet and left the 45 year old pink toilet in our front yard. Classy!

5/365: Truancy School

Truancy school requires the student and a parent to attend an hour and a half lecture about attendance. And we get to pay 20 bucks for the priviledge. Thanks for the fun evening, Seth.

4/365: Before & After

I'm cheating today with 2 pictures but both represent 1 project. I knew my laundry room was bad, but until I saw in "technicolor" I didn't realize how bad. S'all good now....until tomorrow.

3/365: Snowshoeing Makes Me So Happy!!!!

What a joy to finally get back to the mountains. The snow was deep, the dogs were happy and all was right with the world--for at least an hour.

2/365: Goodbye Christmas

It's always sad to say goodbye to Christmas but let's be honest--it's a little easier when your Christmas tree is a fire hazard.

1/365: Polar Bear Plunge

January 1, 2011--My first day of Project 365. My "friend of all friends", Mary Lee and I jumped into a frozen pond...our first time at the Polar Bear Plunge. I've seen this in the paper every January 2 and I have always wanted to do this. Now I have and now I feel like I can do anything this year!
