149/365: Now We're Talking!

What a gorgeous day! After yesterday's dismal weather...this was a welcome relief. The dogs were happy, Mary was happy, I was happy. All was right with the world...for the time being.

146/365: Provo City Library Summer Reading Program

This turned out to be kind of a big disappointment. I was hoping for a really cool list of books to read. Turns out there is no list. Just read whatever you want. Bummer.

144/365: Jake Parker

Meet Jake Parker--illustrator and creater of the graphic novels: "Missle Mouse". He gave a little assembly at school today and talked about drawing. Then he had the kids help him with a cartoon. It was pretty interesting.

138/365: "The Tempest"

Totally breaking my rule of one picture and one picture only. But Canyon Crest Elementery just put on Shakespeare's "The Tempest" and they did a marvelous job. Congrats to all who participated but especially Cy Lee (Adrian), Asher Franks (Prospero), and Theo Lee (Ferdinand).

135/365: Timpview Jazz Band Pillow Concert

Seth sang "Hey Jude" at the pillow concert and totally rocked it. This is just a thumbnail from the video I took of him. I was so mesmerized by his performance that I forgot to take a picture.

134/365: Airedale Soccer

Who do you think is happier? Hudson or Fergie? Wrong on both counts. It's me because both will be super tired tonight.

134/365: Last Day of Good Weather?

It's the old joke: If you don't like the weather in Utah, wait 5 minutes.

After a couple of days of sunshine, they say a storm is moving in for the rest of the week. Oh well. I got my yard work done and most of the garden planted.

This was my 8th year DJing for the Cotillion. I love watching these kids. They are pretty good Cha-Cha-ers, Foxtrotters, and Swing Dancers.

132/365: Ladies' Night

A wild night with the ladies and by wild I mean: eating good food, lying around on couches and chatting and laughing until 1:30am!

Poor Theo Lee...split his head open after falling out of the swings at school. 5 stitches later...he's getting the attention he deserves...by making it on my blog!!!!!
