119/365: $84.77

Are you kidding me? It just cost me almost 85 dollars to fill up my van today...22 gallons. You do the math.

118/365: A Royal Wedding Breakfast

Thirty years ago, Blythe and I watched a Royal Wedding together (well, not actually together--we were on the phone with each other while we watched from our own houses). So thirty years later, we ate breakfast (with our Royal hats) while watching Prince William marry Princess Kate. We loved it! Hope we get to watch another wedding in another thirty years.

117/365: Line Dry Only

Just making sure I don't shrink my skirt---and have one more article of clothing that's too small for me to wear.

116/365: D.O.T. (Dog On Trail)

Hit the trail for Elaine Huntsman's birthday. It was the nicest day of the week--supposed to be more bad weather for the rest of the week. It was nice to have some sun, though.

114/365: Beatrix Potter Approved

What does one do with leftover Easter candy? Why, one creates a resplendent meadow scene, of course!

113/365: He Is Risen!

Mary Lee, our illustrious Primary president has done it again. She had an Easter pagent. The children were told the story of Easter and then shown this tomb, with the stone rolled away and that Jesus was not there for He had risen. "Go quickly and tell his disciples that He is risen from the dead". The Primary children then came into Relief Society, Priestood, Young Men and Young Women--telling us "disciples" what they had seen. It was very powerful and a beautiful way to celebrate this Holy Day.

111/365 (Part II) Junior Prom

The problem with being the mother of the son...I only get to see the handsome young man and not the lovely young lady. I hope the lovely young lady's mother sends me pictures.

109/365: Tulip Festival Photo Shoot

A torrential downpour and very little idea of what we were doing did NOT stop Nikole and I from shooting almost 500 pictures at Thanksgiving Point's Tulip Festival. (Some of our pictures were actually pretty good). We had a ball!

108/365: His & Her Basket for Auction

Forgot I had to have a basket for auction for the school. I have never been so stressed! Thank Heavens for Mary Lee--her brilliant ideas for donations, her fine arranging skills and for genuine
"talking me out of the tree". Don't mind saying ours looked pretty good compared to most of the other baskets.

The Twighlight series are the best movies to make fun of--hence the wonderful world of Rifftrax. I could watch it over and over and over ...

101/365: The Shoshone Falls

The Falls were pretty spectacular today. Haven't seen them look like this for years and years. Finally! Something that looked familiar during my visit to Twin Falls.

100/365: Fabrics & Stuff...

Spent time at The Gathering Place in Rupert. Love all the fabrics. Makes me wish I knew how to sew. I did buy some flannel to make a baby blanket. But I'm paying someone else to make it for me.

99/365: "...And I Ran...I Ran So Far Away..."

Just as I am trying to snap the world's greatest photo of a flock of seagulls, they get spooked and start to fly...straight above my head. And me with no umbrella. Not cool.

We celebrated Mitch's birthday in style, with Oreo and Snickers cupcakes, a new suit --that doesn't fit (we're going to fix that tomorrow) and a new bike. Here's to our newest "tween"!

This will be my new "home away from home" starting now until next May. Say hello to Canyon Crest's new PTA president. Then ask me: "What the heck were you thinking?!"

A little Photoshop to help convey the idea that there are bright colors during these grey spring days.

92/365: Welcome Welcome Conference Morning

Woke up to much snow this General Conference morning ( you know the old adage: When the Saints meet, the heavens weep). Seth had to climb up on the roof and brush off the satellite so we could continue watching conference.

90/365: Not All Birthday Parties Are Created Equal

Mitch went to a birthday party for his friend Timm. This is what they did at the birthday party. Long gone are the days of Pin The Tail On The Donkey and Musical Chairs.
