Pack meeting was held at the Smith's barn. This is Harmony...the shy horse. She really doesn't like people. When we were outside, she came in. When we came in, she went out. And she wouldn't look at us.
This is a terrible picture because it is taken from a video. But the family and friends played football tonight and it was pretty dang funny. We even had the National Anthem sung before the game started. It was a great night.
My niece Shannon married Ty Bailey tonight. It was a beautiful wedding. Her cake rounds are cut from trees behind my house. So I like to think we helped make it a beautiful wedding.
My friend, Dean Shupe plays bass for a classic-rock band called "One". They play all the songs from my past. They are really very good. I've seen them perform several times. I might be a groupie.
Paul and Erika Dye picked me up at the airport and took me to dinner for my birthday at the Garden Restaurant on top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. It is good to be home.
There's my boyfriend in the background--right after he yelled, "I can't sit in the back! I'll throw up!". And don't worry...they stuck two more people in between us...so we could all be super cozy!
My niece, Shannon is getting married in a couple of weeks and just in case her husband-to-be looks at my blog, I'm only showing one little piece of the dress. But trust me. It's gorgeous!
A few weeks ago, black smoke billowed from my oven and that was the end of that. My new gas range and electric oven are now installed and ready for some serious cooking.
